Tania Tenorio Acevedo

Tania Tenorio Acevedo was born in Mexico City. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the School of Accounting and Administration (FCA) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 2005; she studied a postgraduate degree as a Tax Specialist at the Graduate Studies Division of the FCA-UNAM and had the opportunity to study a Diploma in Tax Contributions at the same institution.

In 2021 she obtained the certification as Compliance Officer for purposes of Prevention of Money Laundering (PLD) of vulnerable activities by the GIAO Transparency and Anticorruption Commission LXIV Legislature.

CAREER

During her professional career in Mexico City, she was Tax Coordinator at Pepsi Bottling Group. Likewise, she was Senior Supervisor and Manager in the tax area (global mobility) in international firms such as KPMG and Deloitte, providing tax consulting to leading companies in the automotive, telecommunications, consumer, pharmaceutical, among others.

In 2017 she was invited to collaborate as a Tax Associate at Metaa, Soluciones Integrales de Negocios, S.C.

She continued her professional career in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, during 2019, where she collaborated as Compliance Manager at Terán Rojas y Asociados, providing financial statement audit and MLP services.

Currently she is Compliance Leader at Cadena Business Advisors, in Nuevo Nayarit, Nay, and as a business advisor she provides services in auditing and MLP to clients in various sectors such as: condominium property, operator, real estate, developer and civil associations.

She has been a speaker on various topics of professional interest and has participated in several university forums and the College of Public Accountants, Costa Vallarta Jalisco.

Tania Tenorio has strengthened her academic training by participating in the following courses and workshops:
-Diplomado for the integral training of Compliance Officers.
-Workshop for the preparation for the certification of vulnerable activities.
-Training Workshop for Specialists in Labor Outsourcing Compliance.
